By using DogFoodGrade (“the site”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
General information, not veterinary advice
Everything on this site, including ratings, scores, lists, the feeding calculator and the food matcher, is general information. It is not veterinary advice and is not a substitute for advice from a veterinarian who knows your dog. Always talk to your vet before changing your dog’s diet, especially if your dog has a health condition, allergies, or is a puppy, pregnant or senior.
Ratings and data
Our ratings come from a published formula applied to information that manufacturers publish and to public FDA recall records. We work to keep this information accurate and current, but manufacturers can change recipes, labels and prices at any time, and errors can happen. Always check the label on the package you buy. A rating is our opinion based on that formula; it is not a guarantee of a product’s quality, safety or suitability for your dog.
If you find an error, please let us know and we’ll correct it.
Affiliate links and third-party sites
Some links on this site go to retailers or brands, and we may earn a commission if you buy something (see our affiliate disclosure). We don’t control third-party websites and aren’t responsible for their content, products, prices, policies or service. Purchases you make on other sites are between you and that seller.

The site’s text, scores, data compilations, design and tools belong to DogFoodGrade unless stated otherwise. Please don’t copy, scrape or republish our ratings, database or pages in bulk, or present them as your own, without our written permission.
